today's inspiration: everyday likes

hope you all had an amazing weekend & Easter :)

this morning at about 10 something
I was walking down from post office with my mom
we were dressed in what we call a
"comfy house clothes" that we wear at home
or to only one or two blocks away
go-quick-get-what-you-need-now-and-come-back-home-straight-because-you-got-nomakeup-on clothes

if that makes any sense

[we didn't intend to but realized after that we both wore cardigans- my mom in beige and i was wearing blue- and matching wedge sandals]

so that's how we felt yeah...
but there was this woman with big volumized hair,
wearing gold aviators holding camera looking
this way that way on left to the right
and approached us when we were stopped by the red light
"hi I'm a designer studied from Italy, May I take you and your daughter's pictures?
I need some streetstyle..."
and my mom was like "no no no"
and she was still continuing on
"we are not using photos to distribute in any of.."
and we were just like "sorry"
and walked away

we had no makeups on
but the weather was so nice
and so i desperately needed my sunnies but there wasn't because I didn't bring my bag with me

so i thought it was best to pass this time
my eyes will look half the size by the sun directly exposed to me
so yeah...
anyways it was quite interesting

i see how streetstyle is getting really popular these days
even in Korea
i thought Koreans were only interested in what's on trend at the moment, the looks seen on the runways and all

but simply they love to get inspirations from the fashion blogs and from people they pass by these days more...

anyways moving on to the post of today:

having grande size of white chocolate mocha
with my mom, aunt, and cousin at starbucks
two blocks away from my house

cake pop? pop cake? forgot the name
whichever comes in first
basically it's a strawberry cake size of a
slightly bigger lollipop from Starbucks
i think they costed about 2 bucks?

my favorite ferrero rocher

chicken club sandwich lunch set
from atwosomeplace
(sorry if all of these pictures are already seen
from my twitter uploads
so if you want my latest pictures right away
follow me @divalicious_m)

bamboo from my grandparent's house
(i think they are bamboos right?)
each of them costed 8 bucks
so got them three

and i can see a tiny bit of
cherry blossom from the backyard

---------------------------------------------

sweet berry moisturizing body balm $11.50
does anyone know if body balm is exactly the same feel
as body lotion or does it feel like balm really?
if so, then i think this is wonderful
b/c it feels like balm stays longer to me

oasis mist $16.50

sea mineral scrub $18

anti-acne calming corrector $24

sea mineral mud mask $25

oasis 24 hydrating booster $30
personally i am interested in serums and boosters
(some of you might already know this
because i mentioned in earlier posts)
because they make your face feels
more moisturized and your face glows naturally
if the product and your skin works as a perfect match that is

aquafirm micro-collagen moisturizer $48

all can be purchased at http://www.h2oplus.com/

***************************************************

turquoise suede bag
love the color blocking
and everyone needs a nice clutch
for evening, formal events
to be worn with blazers, jumpsuits and etc.

light pink suede

turquoise ostrich belt
can imagine this wearing with
white crocheted dress, braided hair, great platforms

black martino bag

all products from http://www.jjwinters.com/

*************************************************

A Detacher stenium sandal $390
this is similar to what i imagined
in dressing up for that ostrich belt mentioned above!

Adam Kimmel button collar shirt county plaid $288

Aspesi andrea shirt light blue $114

Common Projects high-heeled pumps $435

Correll Correll belt bag $350
simply amazing. how many belts are there?

Jean Colonna silk athletic tank black $74

L.G.R cape town $297
need this in my sunnies collection right now :)

That's so funny that you and your mom got approached for streetstyle photos when you were wearing what you think of as your house clothes :) It just goes to show, everyone has such a different perspective on what is fashionable!

That is very interesting and cool, since the other day I was asking myself, when is the guy from The Sartorialist going to ask me to pose for him while walking down the street?
I was starting to think that all those pictures where fake!

hopefully one day some photographer can see me on the street and ask for my streetstyle photo, and hopefully i won't be in my 'just going to the store' clothes. :)

That's so cool about being asked for your photo. I do the "house clothes" thing also, so I totally get it. If I'm not traveling far from my house and just doing something that doesn't require getting dressed nice, then I just wear whatever.

And you made me want a cake pop! :)

Aww..I had a similar happening yesterday. An old man suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started taking almost 20 pictures of me! I did a few poses, though I felt pretty stupid. He said thank you afterward...what a funny man!
