until just about three days ago I could see the pretty cherry blossoms on every tree I passed by

now after some rainy days and interruptive weather,

they are around 40% gone already

며칠전까지 환하게 피어있더니

이젠 어느새 반정도는 다 떨어져있는 듯 싶네요

How did you first begin as a designer?

After graduating from Central Saint Martins College and featuring my Degree Collection

"Arty Society" in the College Press Show I've got a lot of attention from the media,

what encouraged me and reinforced my confidence to express my own artistic

so I started my own brand that gave me the freedom needed.

What does your brand demonstrate? in terms of the image, target etc.

Liz Black is a luxury womenswear label set up in 2010.

The brand reflects conceptual creativity with a minimal and elegant aesthetic.

Its focus is on wearable statement pieces with a timeless appeal, emphasising chic and impeccably tailored structures that complement the feminine silhouette. The Liz Black woman is sophisticated,

independent and cosmopolitan. She is a daring yet elegant dresser,

an intellectual and empowered woman, with a successful, busy lifestyle that demands

innovative designs of the highest quality. The Liz Black woman has a strong passion for design

and a keen eye for quality. She is an elegant dresser and an intellectual and empowered woman,

with a busy lifestyle.

How does the inspiration come? Do you pair items in an unexpected way or wearble version for customers?

Inspiration is in the air! When something obsesses me I take that subject as a starting point.

I do a lot of research and reading. I regularly visit museums and art galleries. Then all start

coming together. Most important of all I trust my own vision to create a new collection.

Do you have some ultimate style rule?

Yes I do. I only wear clothes that I feel confidence on and I wore it on my own way.

In your opinion, what makes the finishing touch to one's outfit?

Individuality and killer shoes!

Don't be afraid to stand out!!!
