7 days, 7 inspirations

1) DIY bag
It's Korean Thanksgiving here
(well it's tomorrow on Monday but we are officially on holidays until Tues. so yea)
and if you have some gift wraps left-over or long scarves
you can make a quick DIY bag if you have some rings
or like the wooden ones I have
(I bought it for about $15 I think...)
just tie it around however you want it and let it loose on the bottom
so you can put at least some of your makeups & cell
sew the sides and that's about it!

made it two
(the right one is slightly longer one)

2) reading magazine on iPad
you can download "Ceci" (the one I'm featured in this month)
and "sure" magazines both Korean for free if you have ipad
just search it in app store
I love scrap-ing pages off from high resolution photos/editorials
I'm sure you're too and wants to get inspirations from many possible sources!

3) JEANRICHARD
if you have iphone/ipad JEANRICHARD now has an app out
if you love watches as much as I do
this is one of the must-haves for you too!

4) lifeafterdenim
My younger brother is so into striped tees these days
(inspired by many navy/sailor looks over s/s?)
and comfortable yet chic looks
so I picked some of my favorites off from
www.lifeafterdenim.com where I give full credits to the images

such a cool dyed pants
blue one is my favorite but certainly men can try the pink ones these days
(but make sure to wear neutral not too bright tops for the right contrast)

i love a denim shirt like this
I would love to wear this one regardless it's for men's

this is also my personal pick that will suit women too
love the shiny gold feel in this trench
the brown one looks more toned down and polished
for all appropriates

5) banane taipei
what we call the "fake printed canvas bags" in Korea
this one I found is available to be purchased in the U.S.
takes about 10 days to get your products
and they take pre-orders for some of the models that are ready
in late September
love the fun pop of colors and the fact that it is so light
and can be carried with you anywhere everywhere!
they cost $119.99 each

lavender grey, lake blue (available for preorder),
grass green, midnight magenta,
mystique brown (for preorder),
french honey camel (for preorder),
& sweet pink

6) regalrose
I always have hard time picking just 10 picks for cool accessories like these
they are amazing
everything I love about feathers, stars, armlet, shoulder pads,
earcuffs, such cool cool details in every single piece!

feather shoulder clips, chain & feathers ear cuff,
super long black string earrings, meteorite drop earrings,
the punk collar necklace, feather ring, star ring,
starburst large double finger ring, geometric armlet
& feather armlet

7) tod's cellphone holder/necklace
see this long strap (the orange+brown braided one)?
it's my cellphone necklace which I had for about a year or more?
I'm so glad that I have it on these days
because I drop my phone too often
and with this long necklace I can catch it just before my cell is about to
crash/hit the ground
it's my cell saver ;)

7 days, 7 inspirations

1) Ted Rossi interview for Neighbor magazine
my second article contribution for Neighbor
if you are my blog readers from the beginning,
I love Ted Rossi's collection so much
as they show such fabulous pieces to make anyone wearing the piece
to be so powerful (with an edge of course!)

those of you ipad users you can download neighbor magazine free at app store
just search for "neighbor"

2) Cine de Chef
cine de chef is a dining restaurant + a movie theatre
didn't watch movie this time but went out with
couple of friends from back in high school
had a great time talking for hours with hot cappuccino
and after all the tired talks we went inside the restaurant to eat
some margherita pizzas, steak and my favorite rose pasta w/shrimps

H&M tank and hat
BULGARI necklace

3) favorite sandwich: eggplant & mushroom

all you need is hot butter toasted buns (or toasts)
with along sausage (or any kind you want to mix), eggplant,
mushrooms, mustard, tomatoes & ketchup

you can mix just about any sauce and ingredients
and they will still taste good with a little salt & pepper

4) fall/autumn
autumn coming close
I see turning leaves on the highest trees I could find on the skypark

5) is deleted (as of request)

6) Keurig machines from One Cup Connection
you know my constant cravings for coffee and search for
new machines, beans and stores
today I found One Cup Connection and about K-Cups
the little pods go into the brewer (Keurig brewers/makers)
and makes an easy hot or iced coffee with your special recipe

if you know some tips on how to make great lattes
share with us :)

It was good to find various K-Cups to choose from
but I picked three of my faves
(there's Gloria Jean's & Caribou in Korea too)

caribou blend decaf- 24 K-Cups $12.99
gloria jean's french vanilla supreme 24 K-Cups $12.99
tully's french roast 24- K-Cups $12.99
&
Keurig B145 Pro K-Cup Coffee Maker on sale from
$149.99 reduced to $129.95 now

in Korea I know many people in age from 20s to 30s who live alone for school and or works
find for brewer type like this
(all made in a pod-> goes into a brewer-> one click of a button ->
all hot and freshly brewed in a mug ready for you type)
because it's easy to use & of its affordable price
compared to the thousands of dollars of espresso and latte makers

go check out these and other K-Cups at
and they also have a blog

pop-up store for Elle Girl Korea

pop-up store @ Shinsegae department store in Kangnam
for Elle Girl Korea

received a free hand copy of Elle Girl Korea September issue
(mini version so it's a shorter one compared to the original hard copy)

from the pop-up store there was a voting event going on
to pick your favorite looks
(each mannequin's look was made from different elle girl editors
which is your favorite out of 4 styles?)

1. girly british-ism

2. cool tomboy

3. 1980s disco
that green leopard flat is 39,000 Korean won which is about $39
(from LeShop)
I wanted to purchase it but 7 1/2 was too tight because of my bone...
should I get 8 and wear it slightly big?
or just pass it to find a perfect pair next time?
want to hear your thoughts!

4. romantic retro

I personally voted for 80s disco
since I love extraordinary, quite an eye-catchy designs

but really I like to dress up in every and any styles depends on the mood I'm in
don't you too? ;)
now the pop-up store is closed but glad I went before it was over

blueberry chiffon cake + light iced Americano @atwosomeplace

back in Busan and the still summery weather welcomed me with
warm sunlight + breezy & salty smell coming from the beach

yes this is the outfit I wore in this post

if you ever visit Korea
I personally recommend you not just the capital city Seoul
but to visit Busan; there are about 3 or 4 beaches that I know of
that look and feel totally different and unique of its own :)
